Big Greek Wedding goes to Paris (click here to view last years pictures)
This year's "Big Greek Wedding" took place at Thalian Hall on April 4, 2008, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Tickets cost per person of $75.00, and all proceeds went to support the work and activities of Phoenix Employment Ministry. For more information about this successful event, call (910) 343-3664. Second Annual Spring Missions Luncheon
Our 2nd annual Spring Missions Luncheon was held On May 15, 2008, at our Pheonix Employment Ministry offices. This luncheon is where we say “thank you” to the religious organizations that have supported
the ministry and build new relationships with others.
Fall Celebrity Fund Raiser Luncheon
This luncheon was held at 12:00 noon on September 4, 2008, at Saint James Episcopal Church. A special celebrity guest speaker addressed the attendees at this luncheon.
Third Annual Phoenix Community Job Fair
PEM and the Star-News sponsored the third annual job fair on March 5, 2008. The event was hald at the Coastline Convention Center and was a big success. Our Job Fair takes place every spring and employers who wish to be included should contact Mike Burak at 343-2311.
